Leftists try to Ban Conservatives from PBS!

Yes, you heard that correctly.  The chairman of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting realized the obvious:  PBS was a hotbed of pure leftist propaganda, supported by the U.S. Government.  So he decided to try to balance the programming and sought conservative programming to add to the PBS mix.  Sounds reasonable, except to the leftists who want to brainwash us into dependency, obeisance to the Democratic party, and complacency.

Yesterday, Congressman David Obey (D-WI) and John D. Dingell (D-MI) asked the inspector general of theC CPB To investigate chairman Ken Tomlinson.  They called his actions "disturbing" and "extremely troubling."  Why?  Well, for starters, their "troubling" actions may mean that conservatives may actually approach equal time on government radio and TV.  This is anathema for Democrats, the vampires who cannot stand the light of truth to be shed on their intellectually vapid ideology.

"Why is it that the Democratic party, as the GOP is fond to note, ’the party of "NO!",’ always opposes any effort to let anyone actually hear the conservative viewpoint?"

Why is it perfectly fine to espouse America-hating leftist doctrines on PBS, while adding conservative voices to the mix "may be illegal?"  Why is it that the Democratic party, as the GOP is fond to note, "the party of ’NO!’," always opposes any effort to let anyone actually hear the conservative viewpoint?  I’ll answer that question with one of my own.

Why is it that an organization like Fox News, widely attacked by both the leftists and the rest of the media (also leftist), which merely adds a 50-50 mix of liberal and conservative (Greta balances O’Reilly, Colmes tries to balance Hannity), has gigantic ratings while the noticeably leftist, GOP-hating, America-hating MSNBC and CNN wallow into near-oblivion?  The reason is obvious.  The people have commonsense, and will respond positively to the reasoned and reasonable conservative viewpoint.  Hence Fox’s popularity, the 2002 election, the 2004 election, the election of Schwartzenegger as governor of California, the increase of conservative representation in state houses.

"The fact that the left hates the idea of anyone actually hearing the conservative viewpoint stems from the vapid lack of logic in the left’s positions.  People are confused by liberalism."

The fact that the left hates the idea of anyone actually hearing the conservative viewpoint stems from the vapid lack of logic in the left’s positions.  People are confused by liberalism.  They say that they are the philosophy of tolerance, but they are by and large intolerant racists who oppose black judicial nominees and call Dr. Condoleeza Rice "stupid" because she is black and not dependent upon the white liberal power structure to define her as a person.  They say that liberals are tolerant but you cannot dare to be pro- life or pro- Social Security reform, or pro- tax cut lest you be excoriated and treated like a pariah.  Liberals say that they are the philosophy of free expression, but you had better not dare to be the liberal head of Harvard and discuss a scientific study that angers militant feminists, or your job and perhaps your life may be in danger.

Liberals say that they are the party of free speech, unless of course your speech happens to conflict with their extreme doctrines.  One can publish simulated child pornography and be protected by the First Amendment, but dare you wish to contribute to the GOP to produce an advocacy ad, it’s prohibited (Thank God there are the 527s).  One can arrogantly assert a Constitutional right to publish an "art work" that is blasphemous to Christians, but in New York City you cannot own a handgun to protect yourself from a home invader.  Liberalism is inconsistent and ungrounded, and that confuses good, honest, hard-working people, who know that sensibility, goodness and decency are not variable standards.

Hence, liberals will do anything and everything to squelch conservatives.  They make too much sense and attract sensible people whenever their viewpoint is presented.  So, while it is disgusting and repulsive, the Democrats’ effort to gag conservative viewpoints on PBS is understandable.
