Immature Crybabies: Whiners Defame the People

The elite liberal whining about the 2004 results has become a deafening roar.  Everywhere from the New York Times to Soap-Opera related message boards, liberals are turning out in droves to decry the stupidity of the more than 59 million voters who mandated George W. Bush as our President for a second term.  That count, as if you haven’t already heard this many times over, is the highest number of votes ever given to any presidential candidate, ever.

The demographics have made a permanent shift.  As in 2000, most urban voters broke for Kerry, and most rural voters broke for Bush.  However, the suburbs of urban areas, once narrowly GOP, are becoming strong GOP bastions.  In the Chicago metro area, only Cook County voted Kerry.  Will, DuPage, Lake, Kane and McHenry counties, all of the collar counties in fact, were strong for our President.  This trend is seen in many other urban areas.  In New York, only the city itself and Long Island went Kerry; substantially all of the rest of the state went Bush.

The pundits, including this one, are now openly countenancing a full generation or more of GOP power.  After careful further review, I completely agree.  The GOP is likely to keep the Congress, and perhaps the White House as well, for 25 to 45 more years.

"People love low taxes, self-reliance and our sovereignty.  The Republicans stand on these issues as dogma, while the liberals are to busy trying to be ’mommy’ to every person in the country."

Why?  People love low taxes, self-reliance and our sovereignty.  The Republicans stand on these issues as dogma, while the liberals are to busy trying to be "mommy" to every person in the country.  The left does not seem to grasp that the Great Depression ended in the 1940 or 1941.  They cannot see a world unless they are vitally necessary to make the decisions for the common man, who they feel is incapable of managing his own affairs.  Hence they need to provide healthcare coverage to all, because to them the common man is incapable of managing his own affairs to the point where he can afford medical care.  They need to provide government mandated, government managed retirement money because they believe that the common man has no sense to manage his savings, but they also want it government run because they know that putting the retirement funds into private sector investments would generate huge income for the common man, and his self reliance would supersede his dependence upon them.

"The people are not ’dumb,’ as the UK Daily Mirror alleges, or ’ignorant’ as that snob Jane Smiley wrote in Slate.  The people of America are innately intelligent.  We saw through the spin and realized which party wants to suck away the freedom that matters."

The people are not "dumb," as the UK Daily Mirror alleges, or "ignorant" as that snob Jane Smiley wrote in Slate.  The people of America are innately intelligent.  We saw through the spin and realized which party wants to suck away the freedom that matters.  Liberals say that conservatives are anti-freedom because we do not tolerate the murder of full-term babies, don’t want our kids to learn obscenities from prime time television or movies, and don’t want our kids handed birth control devices at school without our knowledge or consent.  These "freedoms," however, are licentious illusions of freedom.  Meanwhile, while the libs "fight for freedom" on these diversionary issues, they simultaneously work to erode our true freedom, our independence from the stealth tyranny they advocate at every turn.

The people have seen this and smacked down the liberal agenda -- forcefully.  They started smacking down the libs in 1984, continued in 1994, and in 2004 the final smackdown was delivered.  Three decades of Democratic minority status are neither unheard of nor unhealthy for this country.  We don’t need the government to run our lives.  Our smart and wise electorate has sent a loud, clear message and delivered a mandate to our President and Congress.  It’s up to the Democrats to clear out the leftist dead wood and rebuild in a manner acceptable to the people.  Personally, I think they won’t even get past their denial of the truth for at least 20 years.  It will take that long for the dinosaurs to die off.

So, expect a generation of elections followed by the whining of liberal losers.  We should all stock up on earplugs.
